Alan Braxe's 2005 compilation album "The Upper Cuts" is being reissued in a new version with new tracks and remixes! Alan Braxe is a legend who has been active in the French house scene since the early days of the genre, along with his ally Daft Punk.One of the most important electronic producers of the 90's and 00's, and a major influence on the subsequent rise of French house and electro music such as Ed Banger, Justice, and Kitsune, he released a very important compilation album "The Upper Cuts" in 2005. The Upper Cuts" is now being reissued on Smugglers Way, Domino's new electro/dance music-focused label. The Upper Cuts" features "Music Sounds Better With You" by Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk and others sampling Chaka Khan under the name Stadust, the biggest hit in French House history, "You'll" by Braxe / Falke, "Stay In My Heart" by Chrystal, "Chrystal" by Daft Punk and others sampling Chaka Khan, and "The Upper Cuts" by Stadust. The album features 17 tracks, including classics such as "Stay In My Heart" and "Chrystal City", a remix by Braxe of Britney Spears' "Anticipating", and two new tracks.Vinyl will be available on black vinyl as well as limited edition colored vinyl.
