The TubBuddy® with Tilt (SB2T) transfer system quickly converts a standard bathtub or curbed shower into an accessible, barrier-free bathing space—without the expense, delays, or disruption of a full bathroom renovation. Designed to reduce multiple transfers and heavy lifting, the SB2T helps users bathe safely and comfortably while easing caregiver strain.

The SB2T is a modular system made up of three components: a rolling base (shower chair), a bridge, and a tub base. The rolling base functions independently as a bedside commode and moves easily throughout the home like a wheelchair. In the bathroom, it can roll over most toilets for over-toilet use. After toileting, the rolling base connects to the tub base via the bridge, allowing the chair to glide smoothly over the tub with the user’s legs elevated.

A unique 30-degree infinite tilt—exclusive to the SB2T—enhances pressure relief, comfort, and ease of bathing, setting it apart from all other shower transfer systems on the market. Once positioned over the tub or shower, the rolling base and bridge can be disconnected and removed, allowing the shower curtain to close for privacy or giving caregivers improved access. A secondary safety mechanism prevents accidental disengagement from the tracks during transfers. In some bathroom layouts, a custom bridge may be required.

The TubBuddy SB2T comes fully equipped with a front-opening cushion, neck rest, swing-away and removable footrests with calf strap, flip-back and lockable removable armrests, 5” locking casters, a removable commode bucket with lid, chest belt, lap belt, and height adjustability. This system is caregiver-assisted only and is not intended for independent use.
