• Fill a clean basin or tub with cool water (never hot)
• Add a small amount of gentle, pH-neutral detergent designed for delicates
• Submerge the dress and gently swirl it in the water — do not wring, twist, or scrub
• Let it soak for 5-10 minutes maximum
• Gently press the fabric to release dirt, paying special attention to any soiled areas
• Drain the soapy water and rinse thoroughly with cool, clean water until all detergent is removed
• Never wring or twist the fabric — gently press out excess water
• Lay flat on a clean, dry towel and roll up to absorb moisture
