The free-backing design allows for smooth reversing without brake engagement, making it ideal for trailers equipped with surge brake actuators. It mounts using a 4-bolt pattern and is compatible with most standard hub-and-drum assemblies, including Dexter, Lippert (LCI), and AL-KO.
