The Safariland Quick Locking System Kit (QUICK-KIT) pairs the QLS 19 Locking Fork with the QLS 22 Receiver Plate to let you transfer holsters and accessories between attachment points in seconds — no tools required. The injection-molded nylon receiver plate mounts at adjustable angles to suit your carry preference, and the QLS fork attaches to any Safariland holster with the standard 3-hole pattern. Compatible with Safariland Duty Rated configurations, the kit ships with all necessary hardware and an Allen wrench. Available in Black, FDE Brown, Foliage Green, OD Green, and Coyote Brown.
The QLS 22 Receiver Plate attaches to any Safariland holster or accessory that uses the standard 3-hole mounting pattern. Once the plate is secured, the QLS 19 Locking Fork snaps onto it and locks at your chosen rotational angle. The system is compatible with Safariland Duty Rated configurations and accepts attachment on belt loops, tactical leg shrouds, and other stable platforms that accept the QLS fork.
A quick pinch of the thumb and index finger releases the fork from the receiver plate, letting you pull the entire holster or accessory free of the attachment point. This same motion allows rotation or angle adjustment of the accessory without disassembly.
The QLS system solves a specific operational problem: re-configuring a gear belt or plate carrier without tools mid-shift or mid-mission. Because the receiver plate sets the mounting angle independently of the fork, you can dial in cant before locking the holster in place. The system maintains Level I Retention at the locking interface, meaning the fork stays positively locked to the receiver plate until the pinch release is deliberately actuated.
The injection-molded nylon construction keeps weight down and resists corrosion. All mounting hardware and an Allen wrench for installation are included in the kit.
The QLS kit works with any Safariland holster or accessory that features the standard 3-hole mounting pattern. It is also compatible with Safariland Duty Rated configurations. If you are unsure whether your specific holster model accepts the QLS 22 Receiver Plate, contact us before ordering.
No. The QLS 22 Receiver Plate is designed for the Safariland 3-hole pattern. Holsters from other manufacturers that do not share this mounting pattern are not compatible with the kit.
No. The QLS Kit is a mounting and transfer accessory, not a ballistic component. It carries no NIJ ballistic rating.
The fork locks positively into the receiver plate and maintains Level I Retention until deliberately released. To release, pinch the thumb and index finger against the fork. No other motion or tool is required. The same pinch action also allows rotational adjustment of the accessory angle.
The fork and receiver plate are both injection-molded nylon, so the added weight is minimal. The kit is designed to keep the holster's profile close to the attachment platform while still providing a positive lock and a fast single-motion release.
The QLS 22 Receiver Plate is designed for belt loops, tactical leg shrouds, and other stable platforms that accept the QLS fork geometry. Contact us if you have a specific mounting platform you want to confirm before purchasing.
