Teen Daze, aka Jamison Izaak, a producer from British Columbia, Canada, never expected to be globetrotting as an adult, but he was fascinated by a French house music video he saw as a teenager, and it continues to He says, "I was fascinated by the French house music videos I saw as a teenager, and that continues to this day." Inspired by the synthesized sights and sounds from across the ocean, he patiently taught himself primitive software and recording programs, reverse-engineering the cerebral and enchanting world of dance music that had always fascinated him. And ten years later, having amassed a vast discography of dreamy synthpop and romantic electronica, crossing the globe many times in the process, the subtext of his project's journey was clear: Teen Daze is a dream come true.This new album, Interior, is signed to the prestigious Cascine label that has produced Yumi Zouma and others, and was mixed by Joel Ford, known for his work with Oneohtrix Point Never and others, and mastered by Dave Cooley, An ode to the electric future, glimpsed at ecstatic heights from the bedroom to the great room, the album is like a first love refracted through a prism of wisdom, hurt, and wonder.
