Mode Selector, the core duo of the world-renowned electronic band Moderat, has released their first new album in 7 years! The first track "Wealth" features the young London rapper Flohio, and is followed by a new track "Wealth" featuring Estonian rapper Tommy Cash and Miami's IDM genius Otto Von Seelark. Since their debut album in 2005, the techno duo Mode Selector, consisting of Gernot and Sebastian, has released numerous albums in the underground club music scene, and has gained a wide fan base with their unique dance music that updates 80's new wave and combines it with elements of hip-hop and bass music. The two have been on an indefinite hiatus since their last world tour in 2017, and have now released their first new album in seven years. After a world tour in 2017, Moderat went on indefinite hiatus. The duo from Berlin's techno scene has taken the experience they gained from their worldwide success and produced this album freely following their desire to express themselves.The overwhelming power of the African bass music "Wealth" featuring UK grime stalwart FLOHIO, which is also the first music video! The electro bass "One Untitled Power" rocks big festival crowds, "Prugelknabe" is killer techno with gothic electro interspersed with explosive drum rolls, "Who" is a runaway LO-FI techno featuring Estonian rapper TOMMY CASH, and the 80's NEW techno "Who" is a runaway LO-FI techno featuring 80's NEW techno rapper TOMMY CASH. Who", "I am your God" which is like hard techno in 80's NEW WAVE, and "Wake Me Up When It's Over" which is a fusion of high-speed drum & bass and synthwave to decorate the last track, it is an overwhelming masterpiece filled with their love for electronic dance music and spreading their message.
