As USB interconnect systems gain in popularity, so too do the demands on the cabling systems. L-com's waterproof cables can prevent costly repairs that are sometimes necessary when contaminants such as water and dust destroy standard unprotected USB connectors. These IP67 rated cables feature waterproof connectors to standard connectors. IP67 Male versions are shrouded and IP67 female versions are bulkhead and panel mount capable. Mates and dust caps are also available as are fully shielded, die-cast metal connectors for a full 360° that can ground to a panel or enclosure. Most options are available in USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 standards.

• 30 micro inch gold contact plating provides reliable connections even over repeated mating cycles
• Metal coupling nut provides 360° shield when mated with appropriate metal female from L-com's U3A cable series
• standard lengths are 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5 meters
