One of the most well known and popular of plum trees, Victoria produces pale red fruit.

Victoria is a versatile plum tree, producing fruit which can be eaten, used for cooking and for jams.It produces a heavy crop which often needs to be thinned if fruits are to be produced each year. Left to its own devices the sheer weight of fruit may well break the branches of the tree.Harvest between Mid-August to late September. If you are growing only one fruit tree, then this is the one to plant.It is self fertile and will pollinate with any other variety of plum.

As with all trees from the prunus family, the leaves will start to appear autumnal and slightly shabby with holes, from mid-June onwards. This is not a disease, it is just a growth cycle with this type of tree.

Trees are grown on St Julien A rootstock which will grow to 10-12ft max.
