This is a painting of the church in Krumau, a medieval village in the bohemian region of the Czech Republic. Egon Schiele lived and worked in Krumau, and his mother was born there. In one infamous incident, the townspeople drove him out of town for allegedly hiring teenage girls to model naked for him. The style of the painting is an ode to Schiele and his groundbreaking work.
This is a hand-signed and numbered limited edition print of only 20 on Archival Hahnemuhle FineArt Baryta 325 gsm paper.
