This shiboridashi was handmade by the artist Inge Nielsen and is tenmoku glaze over porcellaneous stoneware. It was fired in the studio's kiln to 1260 degrees.

This piece is part of a limited collection of teaware made by Inge Nielsen for Mud&Leaves. Inge studied ceramics in Taiwan and works in her studio in Brussels. She makes a variety of stoneware vessels, but has become known primarily for her teaware - beautiful and functional pieces sized perfectly for Chinese tea sessions. Her work has been featured in professional competitions, galleries and museums.
