Located in Kagoshima, a prefecture on the southern tip of the Japanese island of Kyushu, the Tsunuki distillery began distilling on October 27, 2016, and the first new make left its stills on October 28, 2016. This Mars 2016 Tsunuki was distilled on December 19, 2016, and aged in a second-fill bourbon barrel.
