A beautiful Belle Époque necklace from the early 20th century, crafted around 1900 in Prague, during the Austro-Hungarian Empire period.
This necklace is made in 14K gold with an elegant floral motif typical of the Art Nouveau style, highlighted by two bright white old European-cut diamonds and three intense velvety blue sapphire drops.
Each sapphire weighs approximately 0.5 carats, bringing the total to around 1.5 carats, while the diamonds add a further 0.2 carats. The piece has a good weight at 9.27 grams, measuring 48.5cm (19") to sit just below the collarbone, secured with a classic box clasp.
Marked with the fox head hallmark, indicating its Austro-Hungarian origin, with the letter 'C' for Prague, this necklace is an exquisite example of Belle Époque craftsmanship from the heart of Europe.
