BUGPACK HD Chromoly Pushrods – 3/8" Cut-To-Length (.080" Wall)

Achieve perfect valvetrain geometry in your high-performance air-cooled build. These BUGPACK heavy-duty chromoly pushrods are designed for custom engine configurations where standard lengths won't suffice. With a substantial .080" wall thickness, these rods provide the structural rigidity needed to eliminate "pushrod whip" at high RPMs, especially when using aggressive cams and dual valve springs.

Crafted from 4130 Chromoly tubing, these rods come with one 60 Rockwell hardened tip pre-installed, while the second tip is left separate. This allows the builder to trim the tube to the exact required length before seating the final tip, ensuring a custom fit for your specific deck height and rocker setup.

Tech Note: A pushrod length-checking tool is highly recommended when using these. Once you have determined your optimal length, the tubing can be cut and the second tip should be pressed in (typically using a light interference fit or a specialized installation tool).
