Installation is basic hand-tool territory — you'll need a panel removal tool or flathead screwdriver to pop the door panel trim. The switch itself bolts to the factory bracket with existing hardware and plugs into the wiring harness. No drilling, no modification.

Will this work if only my driver window is broken?

Yes. This is a single-switch replacement for the driver's side only. If your passenger window is also stuck, you'd need a separate passenger-side switch assembly.

What happens if the switch doesn't power the window after install?

Check the door panel connector first — make sure it clicked fully into the switch. If the window still won't move, the issue likely lives in the motor or wiring upstream. A multimeter test at the connector will tell you if power is reaching the switch.
