The Aqmos 1 backwash filter offers effective filtration, reliably removing unwanted particles such as dirt, sand, rust, sediment, and suspended solids. It protects water pipes and connected systems from corrosion and malfunctions, thus ensuring safe and clean operation.

Made of high-strength, technical plastic and optimized for airflow, the filter is ideal for particle sizes from 90 µm. Thanks to the integrated backwash filter system, the screen surface of the filter element is continuously cleaned, resulting in consistently high filtration performance.

Integrated automatic function and adjustable backwash intervals

The automatic backwash filter system enables reliable and automated filter cleaning. Before initiating the backwash process, it checks whether the backup battery has sufficient power reserves to successfully complete the cleaning process even in the event of a power outage or if the power supply is not in use.

The backwash interval is flexibly adjustable and can be individually programmed from 1 to 99 days. This ensures cleaning as needed and optimizes the operation of the water systems.

Pressure reducers and manometers – Precise control

A continuously adjustable pressure reducer, which is also soundproofed, ensures that the water pressure is continuously regulated and stabilized. At the same time, the integrated pressure gauge allows for constant monitoring of the water pressure, effectively protecting against damage caused by excessive pressure.

Pressure regulation is simple: Using a flathead screwdriver, loosen the screws in the pressure adjustment knob and increase the water outlet pressure by turning the knob clockwise. Always ensure that the water pressure at the outlet is lower than that at the inlet.

Installation conditions and installation

For optimal operation, it is important to install the filter according to the installation instructions in the operating manual. The installation location should be frost-proof and protected from direct sunlight. The backwash filter, including the automatic system, must be connected directly to the sewer water supply.

Before installation, ensure that all parts are included. Connect the shut-off valve, release any pressure from the pipes, and carefully check the filter screen for correct flow direction after installation. An arrow on the brass head clearly indicates the correct flow direction.

Commissioning, backwashing process and maintenance

After installation, the backwash filter should be thoroughly inspected. Ensure the drain pipe is properly connected or a suitable container is available before starting the backwashing process. The filter housing will be effectively cleaned by rotating the lower part of the filter 3 to 4 times clockwise and counterclockwise.

Depending on the water quality, it is recommended to flush the backwash filter at least once a month for 1-2 minutes to ensure proper functioning. Additionally, annual disassembly and cleaning of the filter screen is advisable. Only original spare parts should be used for cleaning or maintenance work to guarantee correct operation.
